CONTRACTED AMBULANCE SERVICE RETURNS TO POESTENKILL

At its May 22 workshop, the Town Board approved the contract with Sand Lake Ambulance to begin providing service July 1. The proposal provides for two ambulances during the day and one at night. In addition, mutual aid from North Greenbush and East Greenbush would be available, something the town has been lacking for ten years.  A Certificate of Need (CON) has been secured by the Town allowing for ambulance service to start as scheduled.  Congratulations to Supervisor Russell and his work with Town Board for making this happen!
