Poestenkill residents have been very gracious as I have travelled around our beautiful town. Whether it’s a very brief conversation, or a more detailed discussion, I greatly appreciate our community. The top thing I have been hearing is a collective peace of mind knowing that a dedicated ambulance service has returned to our town. Recent mailers, town hall public comments, statements made at the October 20th Meet the Candidates night give the impression that $600,000 of funding for Water District 2 (WD2) construction is at risk. Water District 2 will supply municipal water to Algonquin Middle School and nearby neighborhoods. The creation of the WD2 was approved by homeowners in the district on June 27, 2024. With two weeks left in this campaign, I want to be clear about why I'm on this ballot. I decided to run for Town Council because too many people confuse complaining online with real action. I'm running because our town deserves a Council that actually serves its residents - all of them, not just one group or association.

No one really wants to be interrupted by a politician, especially around dinner time or after a hard day at work, but I must say Poestenkill residents have been very gracious as I have travelled around to the four corners of our town. Whether it’s a very brief conversation, or a more detailed discussion, I greatly appreciate our community.

As I write this, only 34 days remain in this campaign season. Since announcing my candidacy for Rensselaer County Legislature, I have been out and about in East Greenbush, North Greenbush, and Poestenkill. Here are some observations from the past few months:
