THE GREAT POESTENKILL COOKOUT

Thank you to those that attended The Great Poestenkill Cookout on August 15.

The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time, whether it was playing yard games like cornhole, having conversations with neighbors or new friends, talking with candidates or having a second cheeseburger. I’m very proud that our committee was able to promote local small businesses that graciously attended - Spring Hill Farms, Wind Drift Farms, Blooms - Custom Designs, and Art by Amy. Others donated to our Silent Auction including 518 Craft, Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Seasons Cafe and Tea House, and Shy’s Eats.  Plus, the Hellions of Troy, a local roller derby team, stopped by for a meet and greet!

Check out the pictures below. Bottom line - it was nice to just be together and remember what makes our town extra special.
