The Town Board meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month with workshops on the 4th Thursday. Highlights from the May workshop and June Town Board meetings include:
Approval of a six month contract with Sand Lake Ambulance to provide service in Poestenkill. (See the related article below.)
Approval of a contract with GTM Payroll to provide a better input to the town’s payroll software.
A discussion on the status of town finances.
A caution from Poestenkill Fire Chief Daniel McIntyre on the dangers of charging E-bikes indoors and using after-market charging equipment.
