SAND LAKE AMBULANCE - JULY PERFORMANCE

At the August Town Board meeting, Craig McMillan from Sand Lake Ambulance reported that its response time in July was on average 7 minutes for Poestenkill calls.  That compares to 26 minutes in June from other as-available providers, prior to the ambulance agreement going into effect.  To date, mutual aid from other towns, something that town residents were not eligible to receive prior to July 1, has not been needed, according to Craig.
